well we cleared the place on our first guild run. (first run altogether for most people)

i know we all read up on tatics etc etc but is karar really supposed to be that easy?

You had me curious on why you found it so easy so I had a look at armoury (yep, very bored).

Checked most of your 70s, you are nearly all geared enough, and most of your are outgearing it - thats why I suspect you found it easy bud

Meant to say, still a good achievement doing it on the first run - good going mate.

Now try it with most of your group still in level 65 greens with no idea what they are doing. THAT is hardcore.

Anel grats on clearing kara took you long enough to get there :P , if you want to try something harder try Zul Aman mate

might be why then mate as alot of us were doing every heroic under the sun and farming mats like nutters in the last week or so to get primals and cloths etc to get decent kit before we went in.

saying that a few of the guildies have made out like fucking bandits in that place and have gone from green with the odd blue to half and half bule and epic.

one the 1st day when we got to and smashed rom and juilet the rouge in the group got both daggers (moroes and rom) and a few other bits.

the prince like i was saying to dindo the other day is a right coont thou and it seems that you are dependant on luck alot of the time with regards to infernals etc. That and retards not staying still when they have to on shade.

prince is alot of luck on infernals , the rest is learning curve

Yeah I see alot of Heroic gear, and thats good dude - alot of your guys have the crafted stuff too - helps massively.

Did you summon and do Nightbane? Hes harder than Prince, or can be.

Aye, the rogue has got 10 loots from Kara on 1 and a half runs... that is seriously fucking lucky. I managed to get 2 items which is pretty good.

I'd we can do Zul Aman, and could probably down the first 2 bosses reasonably easily. Dunno about the rest though as I gather its pretty tough towards the end.

The only 'hard' bosses in Kara are Aran (just to learn) Prince (Luck) and Nightbane (Hits the tank like a bastard). The rest are dead easy once you get to know how the fight works. Netherspite is laughable, lootspite more like.

I really gotta get me the [item]Amani Punisher[/item] from Zul'Aman too. With Soulfrost enchant and a good offhand, I'd pretty much bet ready for any 25 man before BT.

Scrunty, The first 2 bosses are fucking rock hard man - and I mean that, the bear is doable if your 2 tanks are in post Kara gear, we aint geared enough for ZA yet. Its definately a T5 gear instance.

We have been a few times and downed the first 2 a few times now but took ages to get it right - the third boss is an absolute bastard. Pala tank is needed for the Dragons, I cant see how you would do it otherwise.

Just grab the S1 mace on AV weekend, much easier to get imo.

yeah deffo we have been trying to get across the point that gearing up on pvp stuff is all well and good but its called pvp for a reason so use it for hc's if you like but not kara if you can avoid it as it will look pretty but things like +hit will be shit and it will fuck things up in the long run. also alot of the guys have actually specced for raiding which helped a hell of alot.

aye we did do nightbane as the one guy bar from scruntsy who had done kara before had the summon thingy. The 1st go we got him to 67% but a few ppl myself included had died earlier not seeing we were in that aoe thing he does.(bit embarresing tbh) the 2nd time we got him to the same and died due to a dodgy tank position and the skellies going mental but the 3rd time we smashed him.

i think when everyone knew the fight it wasn't that bad tbh i'd say deffinatley the prince and maybe shade and illhoof were harder but then we were quite slow on the chains untill we all made a /target demon chain macro and like i said with aran it was just few tards who didn't know how to keep still. all the other bosses bar from attumen and curator who we did 1st try were a case of talk tatics try wipe but learn fight smash them next go round.

saying that about pvp gear i am tempted with the spellblade thou

and in general the weapons are much easier to get and generally just as good

Nightbane is just an annoying cunt, if you control the skellies its a straight forward fight (and obviously make sure that no one runs outta his range).

On Illhoof your spot on, you need those macros otherwise its stupidly hard - very heal intensive though.

Get the place on farm, then get into Gruul and work on Maulgar - very easy fight once you get the pull right. Tell your Mages to read up on tanking Krosh, another fight thats impossible to do without certain classes.
