If Lern2Play images do not work
If you find that images on lern2play are not working add the following line to your hosts file.

63.246.133.52 www.lern2play.com

Your hosts file is located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc or C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc and is a file WITHOUT an extension, so open it in notepad and make sure you overwrite the existing file not just create a new .txt file.

hmm, I picked up a virus from somewhere a few weeks back. A few days later I had notification from ebay that my account had been hacked and someone was using it to flog dodgy world cup tickets ^^

Anyway, ever since then, the BT/Yahoo email address I had associated with the ebay account has been giving me trouble. Basically none of the images load, nor do buttons work so I cant delete, reply to or send emails. This only happens from this pc and no others.

This seems a similar problem to the above. I guess I need to do the same as above but not sure and don't want to try it till I am sure! Any ideas folks?

Would need to know the URL of the site the images are hosted from.

The problem here is the DNS name 'lern2play.com' not resolving to the IP address 63.246.133.52. Your problem whilst sounding similar could be something else entirely.

Ok, the domain would be us.i1.yimg.com, can you open up a command prompt window and type "ping us.i1.yimg.com" without the "", hit enter and see what response you get.

Because it's an industry standard?

Games running on Linux have one simple reason they perform better, the fact the Linux installs they're running on are stripped down gaming installs.

...I can do the same thing with Windows if I crave another 3 FPS.

aye thats what Im planning... only prob is getting all my music, films etc over to the other pc. I hooked other pc up a week or so ago so it can now use my dsl connex, but for some strange reason I cant access folders on it, nor can it access folders on mine... and yes, Ive allowed access on both folders O.o
