It's fine in concept. You see a post you like, you aprove it. You see a post you don't like, you do the opposite.

The problem is when people abuse it and go 'I like him so I'll aprove his posts' or the opposite.

It's only a bit of fun, anyone taking it as some kind of status symbol for being more important needs a reality check.
