Is there anything that can be done about the performance of the site?

Ignoring the times the database explodes every couple weeks, every single time I post on the site, it stops loading for 5 minutes, every single time I click a thread then hit back straight after, the site stops loading for 5 minutes, and every time I click two links on the site in rapid succession...you guessed it, it dies for 5 minutes.

It's happened with two ISPs for me so far, 3 different Windows installs and with 3 browsers, and apparently Sko has the same problem.

Any chance you could have a word with your hosting Wolfy, see if there's anything they can do?

Apart from the downtime.

It's completely random for me. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it's like stoned stated.

I thought it was these shitty work computers.

The site barely covers the expenses for the shit server we are on now.

It would require about 48 hours of l2p downtime tho for me to make a move....

For a few days last week I couldn't load a page unless I clicked the link about 6 times or until my browser progress bar started moving. But past few days has been fine again.

Definitely worth it IMO, and set up some kinda reminder for me to "support" the site via "external links" if possible, I don't mind clicking shit, I just forget to do it!
