I think the salient point here is that in MMO history , I can only think of one game that suspended beta for this length of time.

Coming back to this news with conspiracy theory number 1.

Given EA 2 days later announced the purchase of bioware, including the 'sekret' MMO in production at the austin office , perhaps it isnt a coincedence, and the spice girls got it right when they said 'two become one'.

In addition,given a large number of the bioware MMO team joined from origin to escape the EA machine, I bet employee morale is great in that office right now.
