Personally i dont download any music, if i want it, I buy it as Ive seen the impact on the music industry of pirated material. While i sort of agree.... if i download something its usually to discover a new band and to see if i like them, if i get really into it i will undoubtedly buy the album. The other reason is to get access to a new album form a band i like early. I'll still go and buy it when its out just i am impatient

Most of America isn't much better off than the UK when it comes to available internets speed, but you're much likely to be capped, limited and throttled.

Although you can get fiber wired into your home and go nuts I guess.

You get higher speeds in the city in the US. Out in the sticks though. LOL

Yeah...

Where I am now, we have an option to go up to 35mb, however in NYC FiOS is offering up to 100mb and will offer the same in the DC Metro area, after about a year I think.

My grandparents, who live in the sticks are on an ADSL connection.
