So I got a Dell
M1530 (PRODUCT) RED - for the people in Africa, and for the nice red shell - with the following specs:
Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 3MB Cache)
3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms)
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4inch LCD (1440x900) & 2.0 MP Cam
256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
Windows Vista Premium
250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Dell Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Bundle
Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Internal (2.0+Enhanced Data Rate)
Just looking for the laptop to be relatively good for recent games - having games on high graphics doesn't matter too much to me, but I like them to look nice. Mainly it'll be for music, movies and a bit of work though.
Comes to just over CAD$1,600 - about 800 quid. Which is about in the upper echelons of my spending limit.
Thumbs up? Great.
Thumbs down? Tell me why.
Having a nice time in Canada, by the way. Very moosey.
