| Oh, he tried more efficient air cooling, ah well ![]() Well anyways, 2.53ghz to 3.8ghz on stock cooler, impressive nonetheless ![]() Well you may overclock it if you like doing it or if you want to save money ![]() I overclocked my earlier computer before this C2D beast from 1.8ghz to 2.4ghz, not that much, but I saved a few quid by doing it since I was short on cash |

| Every CPU I buy gets overclocked the second time it's booted. It's just a waste leaving a modern CPU, especially a C2D, at stock. 1.8 to 3.4Ghz for free. ![]() Unless you put a seriously stupid amount of volts through a CPU there's no way to tell it's been overclocked.

| Ahh the days of pumping 2.5v into the 1700+ and 4v into a couple sticks of BH5. I miss them so. :<

| Prommi cooled, it was SuperPi stable but fell over with anything more intensive. I should have pics lying about somewhere but christ knows where they are. I also have some Patriot PC3200 RAM that'll run a 300MHz FSB, shame it'll be useless with an upgrade. :<
