Hey.

I get this error constantly, if i launch a game, watch vids, pics, launch internet this thingy pops up.

"displaydriver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

Tho i can get online on the internet, just a small hickup and im there. However everything else usually crashes my pc to bluescreen then a reboot.

I've tried shit loads of differant hotfixes from dell, microsoft and nvidia without any luck...

Rerolled pc, adjusted how windows work etc etc from various possible fixes i've been reading about.

Curious if anyone else have or have had this error, apparantly it is a huge problem loads and loads of people have had or haveing problem with. Some people have even files a lawsuit because of this.

Some driver problem between nvidia and vista.

Anyone got a clue about this problem?

I run Vista 32 and a nvidia 8800 gtx card.

your using vista thats your problem :P (unhelpful i know but then i hate vista)

and oh dear a search on that reveals a huge amount of people with the same problem...nobody seems to have solved it yet ....

your not by anychance using a 680i board are you ?

I have that same message when playing a few games, though it just restores it and I can continue playing with no problems.

And I have heard a few people saying it happens with loads of crashes on the 680i boards.

Im not to sure about my board and Vasili, i experianced it now and then on various game but usually swg, and all of a sudden it was permanent, so be carefull.

Seems like there are a few degrees on how bad it can be and seems like i got hit really hard.
