New TV, HD player, and American Fridge.

Anybody have any experience with any of those 3 items.and can recommend any good brands?


I was thinking, a Sharp Plasma, Sony Bluray player and an LG fridge.

Anybody got any other ideas for cool shit to buy ( not PCs)

Best deal on blurays (from what I've read) are PS3's.

American Fridges are sold in England as fridges with double doors and ice dispensers.

Traditionally, fridge/freezers over here are smaller/dont have that feature.

As for getting a PS3 as a player... Best quality would come from a stand alone player I assume

Pioneer Kuro for the HDTV.

Even if it's really expensive, it's worth every penny. I got a demo at my local curry's and it blew me away. The guy did a contrast test in the little booth thing and with a black screen showing the contrast is so good it looks like it's off.

No need to worry about contrast for a TV, the whole thing is a grey area anyway.
