I miss the friday night hunts mostly.

In the games current incarnation, you couldnt really do those things, too many hands needed for playing the fps stylee interface , not enough left for drinking and typing.

And I guess I just summed up why I stopped wanting to play it.

I only managed to make it on one Friday hunt.

Luckily I managed to make it on a Jedi Enclave night where we all just got insta murdered by the guard chap and then spent a good half an hour running round in circles trying to stop getting triple incapped.

When I say Friday hunt, I probably mean the people , drinking , playing the game and having a laugh.

I miss that whatever night it was , swg back then was actually a fun way to spend a few hours.

WoW raiding is too seriosu for me, like EQ raiding before it, but nightsister killing or whatever in swg you could do ina group and not worry about spoiling everyone elses fun and wiping a raid by drunkenly doing the wrong thing.
(Or in Eq's case, standing 6 pixels too far to the left in some places)

I think the one thing MMOs have been missing since SWG is a combat queue.

That thing was awesome for spamming off 500 strafeshots and going to make a sandwich.

SWG was just fun in that the way you could spend a couple of hours in a noobie Friday hunt, then bugger off if you had to leave without pissing off everyone else in the group.. Nothing else is quite like it, SWG was the most fun I have ever had involving a PC, period....

swg was the only game i was good at pvp. i tried wow, made it to lvl 47 and got bored. also i cannot remember any game where you can kill or occupy a hand full experienced pvpers on yur own.. and then triple incap em :>

also i miss some of my comrads and of course, my *ingame* enemies.

I was my own worst enemy in SWG though, I refused to become a FOTM because I enjoyed dildo bashing too much (Fencing) which was a pretty shit prof unless doubled up with Pistoleer/Swords (or something, cant remember it was alllll too long ago )
