Was it possible to be a Jedi master before CU?

I thought there was some block where you had to be trained by a master but there were none, catch 22 sort of thing?

If so, how many and who made it?

yup, it was next to impossible to gain them any other way i think. It was more of a broken FRS system than any real exploiting.

Wood got Jedi Master also.. After coming back to the game and saying he didnt care about FRS :P

wood was the only true master.

but fightclubbing was totally lame anyway. sure the system was kind of nearly impossible to get master but so what? a master was close to unbeatable so it was hard for a reason. although i kicked andrez' ass once in a duel.

You're right you couldnt get it pre cu, you needed ap points or whatever they was called and no way to get them or something.

The highest you could go with 4444 in all three trees.

I thought it was crazy easy yo get apprentice points? I remember doing the "teach ranged support I" spam loads.

It was not possible to train other Jedi skills tho, I think you had to be trained by your NPC trainer.

Jedi were originally a whole new character, and could only train jeteye skills.

No it wasn't, you could get the title through fightclubbing pre-CU. I kicked their asses often enough to know!

There was no ranking system pre cu.

You trained master jedi like you did master rifleman.

Maybe im getting mixed up when I say pre cu im talking about PUB 9 I think it was, the jedi revamp. When they removed the armor, and changed all the skills, and added the ranking system.
