I think I could create some kind of JavaScript interactive score board or something like that. You could enter the scores of each match and it would calculate everyone's points total. Could be overkill though :P

pffft, overkill nothing. so long as it works that would be cool. as for top goalscorer, you should only get 1 pick. picking 4 players wont be as good, because you're more likely to get it right. golden boot should just be a yes or no bonus points thing (maybe 10 or 20).

we're doing the same in work, everyone sticking in £5 and winner gets the lot. should get around 200-300

rules we got are pretty easy, i will copy and paste them on monday when i get back into work.

infact i think you should add top scorer, as thats not clear cut. Somebody could get like a hatrick in one game and a few goals in group stages yet not get to semi finals and still be highest scorer

Okay the JavaScript was wrecking my head but then I realised I can do the exact same thing in Excell anyway in approx. 1/10000th the time :P

Anyway, its all ready. It just needs all the contestants adding in after the deadline. After that its just a case of entering in the scores and home,away,draw result of each match as they are played and it will automatically update the player scores :P
