For the other results, Wolves was attrocious, they played pathetic football.

Living where i do i see a hell of a lot of deluded liverpool fans they still live in this time warp when and i'll happily say it where the best team in the land and even as i hardned evertonian it does make me sad that they're not the team they where.

18 years now since they last won the title and frankly its no nearer now than it was back then,yet the money the spaniard and the frenchman have wasted is staggering to my mind,granted they won the champions league a few years back but i do feel something was amiss about that game,but thats for another day.

The frightening thing is that UTD just seem to get better other teams come close but they have an off season they come back even stronger,as i say whoever replaces Fergie when he does go will have a hell of a job stepping into his shoes.

liverpool won't win the league as long as gerrard plays for them. any purchases made for liverpool are made to play around gerrard and other players have to accommodate him, when in all fairness he isn't as good as everyone thinks.

liverpool need to get rid of benitez and sell gerrard for a big pile of money (some sucker will be willing to pay loads for him) and get some decent players worth the money that they spend on them (torres possibly being the only one i can think of in recent years). unfortunately, pretty much every liverpool fan has gerrard on some pedestal of grandure and the club wouldn't dare to sell him

Yes, some of this makes sense, however, even tho Liverpool has spendt silly amounts of money on players that newer should have set their foot on a footbalfield belonging to a club above conference leauge, Benitez still has made some decent buys the 4 years he's been in charge.
Just to mention a few: Kuyt, Nunez, Pellergrino, Crouch, Sissoko, Aurelio, Gonzalez, Pennant, etc etc.
The list is endless, and I'm proud to say Mr. Benitez nicely followed the path that Mr. Houllier so kindely set a few years back with buys like Diao, Biscan, Traore, Diouf, Le tallec, Pongolle, Cherouy etc etc.
