They qualified ahead of England for Euro 2008.

Therefore if England are concered anything near 'decent', Croatia must be considered slightly higher.

but seriously, we do have some very good players, we've just had bad coaching/management. maybe that'll change with teh new wop, maybe it won't; but i for one am pretty happy with our second half performance last night

Truth is Torr very few of our star players would cut the mustard abroad..there just to happy taking silly ammounts of money home each weeek playing in a league thats just about average if you take out the foriegn players

And leave my undercrackers out of this please..they're very sensitive in fact one more fart and i'll blow through them for good

We only have one.

Rooney.

Our other one was Owen, but he is now paying the price for pushing through injuries and playing too much whilst at Liverpool. He will never be that player again. Still probably our best goalscorer , but not the world beater he used to be.

Of the rest, Rio Ferdinand is probably in the top 10 Defenders in the world, Joe Cole and occasionally Gerrard when he has one of his less frequent 'good' games, are true international class.

Bentley looked good, but a long way to go, Hargreaves is our best ball winner, far superior to Barry if we are to play a screening player infront of the back four.

The rest just make up the numbers.
And thats why we wont win anything whoever the manager is.

The sad fact is that the liverpool management at tthe time of Owen being there should be shot for pitys sake they did the same thing with Fowler and played him through his many injuries.

One time is unfortunate but to do the same thing with an even better player is a scandal and those involved (the frenchman and Thompson) should hang thier haeds in shame.

As for Gerrard he doesnt do much for me to be honest.
