| Another new signing? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...td/6272664.stm Man Utd appear to have strengthend the squad a lot this summer. Some very very good players arriving in that team. Jose may be worried. rafa wont care, he cant be any good, hes not spanish. |

| I think he would have done even better at West Ham had he actually got a game in the first half of the season. I reckon with several other world class players around him he'll do okay at Utd. I'm looking forward to seeing Nani and Anderson too The only thing that worrys me is that we still don't have quality at left back. If we're getting rid of Heinze it's only due to him being the lesser of two evils. Evra isn't up to scratch in my opinion.

| Further to that I think we're pretty weak all round at the back. Even in goal things look bad with Van Der Sar having a shakey finish to the season. Not seen enough of Kuszczak but we just signed him perminantly so hopefully he's alright.

| Lol Kasz0rz. Evra/Silvestre for left back, Rio/Pique/Brown/Vidic forr cntre back. Ben Foster and Kuszcak for goal. Man U are sorted. Tbh only centre back pairings like JT/Carvalho, Carragher/Agger, Gallas/Toure will have any chance of dealing with Tevez and Rooney combining, I'm shit scared fir next season. Just hoping one of them gets an injury. Also Kas you shouldn't be supprting Man U u scouse cunt! |

| Oh yeah Evra and Silvestre those rocks of defense... :/ And look what happened when we're without just on of the two first choice centre backs. I could have scored against that make-shift defense. And who's going to replace Garvy Neville? I know Man Utd have always let in goals but it cost us some important games last season.

| i actually quite rate evra. he used to be a weedy little scrote when he first moved (bring from france didnt help) but he has since bulked up a lot and now has the physical strength to do pretty well. rio and vidic at centre back (fucked when either is injured tho) and errr, we dont need a right back! foster was easily one of the best keepers in the league last year and that was at watford with a shoddy set of defenders in front of him. put him behind the utd bak 4 and he should do pretty well imho

| Nunez is a hell of a RB, I think Fergie would do well to sign him ![]() On a more serious note, IF United are to sign Tevez, it would bring their total to aprox £89-85 mill this season..........alone these figures are incredible. Also taking into mention, they just won the PL. However, if you look at the players he has signed, Nani and Anderson are long term replacements, without a doubt good players, but adopting to PL isnt easy, so I dont think we'll see much of them this year. Hargreaves for aprox £20 mill. I really never understood Fergies fascination for this player. Way overrated imo, and no way near worth the money United paid for him. Really cant see him strenghtening the squad as Carrick started to pick things up at the end of the season. Then there is Tevez, ugly as **** but what he can do at front with Rooney /shivers. Could be ugly figures for lots of teams next season.

| It looks like Tevez is signing for Man U on a two year loan deal......... A very nice move for Man U, unfortunatly Sky

| Apparently Hunka, you lot are in for Stephen Elliott from us. Damn fine player if he can keep fit, although I do think it is his proneness to injury is why Keano may let him go. We've just had a second bid for Leighton Baines turned down, 4.5million. I think nudging that to 6 would have us a very nice left back.
