Audi R8's are getting a little 'common' where I work - I tend to see at least a couple every day.

One car I saw the other day that made me look twice is the BMW Z4M Coupe - dont see to many of them, I kinder like them I guess... They are certainly different from the run of the mill everyday R8, Ferrari 360, Porsche 911

I hate BMW's with a passion,off topic but i thought id say it. I work in the commecrial centre of Birmingham, 1 ut of 2 people has an 8 series with a private numberplate. Instead of having their name on the plate, they should just have 'SHE EP100' cos thats all they are.

i too hate bmw's ...it could be the fact that everyone that drives them seems to be a complete fucking twat.

I did have a laugh when i drove down the dual carridge way the other day to see a bmw had smashed into the back of a peugoet.

I like BMW, always have done, I had a 5 series E34 a few years back, it was just such a really really damn good car, bolted together better then anything I have had since.

Looks amazing, Audi make some of the best engines in the world so a little car like that with a V12 should be amazing.

As for BMW's, the car are great, they're just normally driven by cunts.

It doesnt matter how much power and torques its got , its still a diesel.

Ive driven the big V8 diesel A8 that has 350 or so BHP , its great in that car , but I really cant see a diesel ever being suitable for a proper sports car.

A Porsche 911 , Aston V8 or whatever that its up against are about more than speed, its the whole experience, how they sound, feel to drive etc.

A diesel will always fall short of that , in my opinion.

I know if my RS4 was just as fast but had a big diesel instead of the V8 petrol , it wouldnt be as much fun to drive.

Vob - I think they would bring out the diesel powered model if it only sold 10 units worldwide - this is more about creating a halo effect for the other models in the range, people start to feel good about the A3 diesel powered model if they know the same stuf can power the R8..
