kinda makes me angry.

I've never inderstood this obsession with forcing the recruitment of minorities. If they want more non-white males to join the police then they should do something about trying to attract them - eg. promotions in schools...etc - instead of carrying out these racist selection processes. This sort of thing is happening everywhere and all's it does is provoke more racism.

First place I'd start is outlawing questions in application forms that ask what race/origin you are. This is one of my pet hates.

One of the silly things about this is it's a blanket rule for all forces, when the % of ethnic minority varies from area to area... For example where I live ethnic minority < 1% - but the local police still have to find 7% from these people... Basically it means if you are from an ethnic minority you are all but garenteed a job with them...

PS this goes both ways tbh... Black people are known to have positive discrimination in the things they do... I remember a few years back where the girl band Eternal chucked out Louise because she was white, and unless they did that they where not eligible to win awards at the MOBO awards...

Thing is if we setup a MOWO awards, can you imagine the uproar it would cause... It's a one rule for us and one rule for them situation...

The other thing that pisses me off are black people that blame everything bad that ever happened to them on the fact that some time in history, probably 300 years ago, some people in there family were slaves etc… I have met a few like this in my time, get over it, shit things have happened to all human races at some time in the past, but they can’t let go… What some Jewish people have had to go through is much more recent than the whole slave trade thing, but is does not effect them even half as much…
