Sweden will have a new prime minister after the opposition centre-right coalition narrowly beat the Social Democrat government of Goran Persson in Sunday's general election.

Göran Person has now also put in his resignation of social democrat party leader.

Well it won't change much as it was so even in the election between
centre-right coalition parties and the social democrat party.

Sure it will be some special changes, like the extra wealthy tax (basically an extra tax for rich people) is going to be removed.

Except that, it won't be much difference as the social democrats still have a very strong presence in the riksdag (parliament).

I see lots of weak decisions and compromises as usual

I didn't vote for either because as I see it, they have completely failed integrating immigrants into the swedish society, and that they promise something and never keeps it.

dont have the balls to say in a internet forum how you call foreigners? in germany we usually call em schwarz fuß (black foot), ölaugen(oileyes), pasalacken (no idea how to translate t hat). tho you brits/amis usualy call us krauts, ive never heard a turky, albanian or other call a german kraut.

Kraut comes from sourkraut, as obviously all germans eat sausages and sourkraut.

but "kraut" got invented in the ww2, and wasnt meant to be a good name for the ger's.

At least you see my point, the reason you shouldn't say them and that Tag was rightly reluctant to say them (as it would of sounded like your post, that you use them in common speech) is that they're generalizing whole groups of people into one set group, which is wrong as you point out with the kraut name.

For the record Kraut is only used here in relation to football in the press, or by the more sensationalist papers over here, normal people never use those terms as, as you said, they don't apply and were just a racist slur back in WW2.

In this election SD got almost 3% of the votes (you need 4% to get into the Riksdagen), nationwide. But in communities like Landskrona they got like 22-23% which means they are a major part of the local goverment there.
