9/11

Take a moment to remember those that were lost in the terrorist attacks on the United States 5 years ago this day... and changed the world forever.

Well that answered my question.

Amazing how time flies.

I swear anniversaries of tragic events come around more frequently than christmas and birthdays, may just seem that way.

They all get remembered too?

Or are you saying that because america as a nation has taken some lives in war they have no right to remember their dead?

IIRC South Korea has a rememberance day of when the war ended, has alot of monuments to the death of all the people, Vietnam also has similar days and memorials.

Yugoslavia was a UN lead operation, America just gave troops and support to the UN, you can't pin that on them.

I don't see your point really, as it contradicts itself. If America has no right to remember it's dead or mourn the loss of them because they have killed people in other conflicts then surely none of the nations you mentioned have any right to be remembered as they all have did plenty of killing themselves.

All deceased deserve peace and respect.

R.I.P to every single person that has lost their life in, or as a result of the 9/11 attacks, regardless of race, religion, or which "side" they take. May those they leave behind have a future less tainted with the evils of humanity.

Yes they have some rememberance days for those conflicts, but only to remeber their own casualties.

Secondly, yes it was UN operation but did the UN odered US to bomb civilian targets?... No

Dying during a war is kinda different to dying while at the office.

Why the hell does that even matter? I'll ask you again, are the countries which kill people not allowed to mourn their own dead? Especially when this isn't anything like just a bombing through bad intel, this is delibrately attacking civilians for no purpose other than to end human life. The US might have had some bad incidents in war, but so has everyone, including the whole list of people you rattled off before.

So what is the problem with the US mourning it's dead?

I really don't get this? What do you expect? People mourn their own loss, it's nothing new, it's the way we behave. If everyone mourns their own losses and everyone has killed someone innocent in war (which i guarentee they have) then you can't say anything about the US mourning 9/11 without being a moron.

Oh, wait.
