Anything By Amsterdam, or their previous incarnation Pele.
The best band to come out of Liverpool since the Beatles. 8 years of legal wrangling over a contract with their record company meant no performances or recording, else they would now be household names.

Bob Dylan. Pick an album, any album. Listen to the lyrics. The best poet of the last 200 years.

Real Big Fish. Classic punk from there own stuff, simply amazing covers, the version of Van Morrisons Brown Eyed Girl stands out as good as , if not better, than the original.

The Jam. What Oasis tried to be. But done properly.

Prince. Any album is simply a musical journey, musical genre has no meaning for him. Best Live act Ive ever seen.

Santana. guitar playing genius.

John Legend.

Jay Z - Anything done by him.

The Used. Its a bit Emotastic, but I like what I like, I dont really classify music.

What kas said, but as an introduction any of the greatest hits collections will give you a good idea of what hes about.

The bootleg series is great because they tell a story. volume 4 , the manchester concert from 1966 is a bona fide piece of history, where Dylan,halfway through the show, switched from his accoustic guitar and harmonica and started using a backing band and electric guitars.

The reaction from the crowd is amazing.

Yeah i've heard that one to Vob and yes it is history your listening to,but i think surely we all can agree you dont buy a Dylan record for his vioce..just the words...

I don't know if anyone saw the documentary last year on Dylan the part where he did a similar thing at a festival in america is amazing,the power one person had/has over people is amazing to see.

I think Dylan has (well, had. He's pretty much lost it now) an amazing voice. His songs never sound as good sung by anyone else with the exceptions of Mr Tambourine Man by The Byrds and All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix.

He also used lots of different singing styles depending on the song.
