Just wondering really even now as the promo comes to an end it does seem a move of desperate proportions even by SOE's standards to give away so much

Did you ever have the misfortune to try it out on a vista machine Tag?

The problems i had far outweighed any other problems i had with my processor being honest,in the end i had to switch back to xp to get the game to run properly

I secretly tried it out when they did the 'you can be a fairy for a week' thing. Didn't seem so bad, just not enough to make me want to pay for it again.

They gave it all away now Wharry the lot..all expansions adventure packs the works nice way to treat loyal long standing paying customers i have to say.

It just seems an utterly desperate move by SOE,hell there even giving the peeps who play on after thursday a fiver off the next expansion,they may as well make it free 2 play the way its going.

That's how it is with MMO's.

You, at some point, can no longer justify charging for the shit you call expansion packs, which were poorly coded and shoddy when released, and now are a patchwork feces piled on top of your originally shitty design.

I'm pretty sure that games that aren't in the process of dying a slow death still continue to charge for expansions.
