Ok, lets hear it
A few weeks after release etc, how is the game? Is it anything that you can enjoy for quite some time? Or just a good newbie experience and after that it turns into crap?

Enlighten me please, I would love to hear your impressions

Still playing and enjoying massively.

I dont play it as 'hardcore' as I did/do WoW, I just play for a few hours every now and then, because you can play it that way. You dont have to have all the awesome gear to be any good.

Ill be honest though, it is still any other generic MMO with an amazing world & graphics.

i agree with gil, its the generic mmo nr. xx. tho i like the game, maybe because there are loads of old swg players around. tdv, mash, REB and more.

the endgame stuff... well, pvp ... its based on only one map. with 4 castles/raid bosses init and two player citys, which are, in my short experience as a lvl 47 player, not captureable (one shot npcs at the entrance). the pvp is very nice in raids, but quite boring in 1v1... well 1v1 is very unlikely, as the "monster" faction usualy comes as "wargs" (a class they can choose, its stealth class) and in groups. so no point in going out solo.

the npcs, i was only in one raid so far outside the pvp area. it was some lvl50 130k morale spider. i will post some screenshots today of my experiences i had ingame

People were like "OMFG BREE AND THE PRANCING PONY" and I was like meh.

i never was like that. tho i used to stand infront prancing pony with my lvl2 hobbit called Peppo playing on my lute, griefing people with my music :P

Nah it wasnt just you, it was the people in general. I enjoyed the films but other than that I'm not really much of a LOTR fan, I just dont feel the excitment that other people do, and with it just being a generic MMO underneith it doesnt hold much appeal for me.

I'll probably be the same about Conan, unless its gameplay is extraordanary.

yea ... there are quite a lot of health bars on the screen :/ but im not such an elitist player who searches for the newest ui toolbar mods like 90% of the WoW people do. not sure if there are any actually!

sadly i havent played with any other mash or tdv yet. they all leveling so slow! :/
anyway...i think i found out two exploits how to get first, lots of bonus exp and second, from lvl 45 a quest that shouldnt be repeatable but actually can be shared again after being finished (gives 6.5k exp) and then finished again with just talking to some guy in rivendell. but you need some one loot stuff that drops from one certain mob all the time. only got 2x that exp... not that i use it anymore for geting fast to 50 :P
