Well server is back up but if you were in game when the server fell over, chances are you wont be able to get in game with that character. My main toon is fucked, get to the loading screen then get bounced back to character select screen. Can get in game with alts though. If you have this problem post your character details here ...

If you play on a RP server, my advice is move all the spam channels to a different tab.
My main tab has /fellow /say /kinship thats all.

I got sick fed up listening to RP nazis trying to tell people to stop spamming OOC with football and shit... if people dont like whats typed in OOC because it isnt in spoils the atmos.. then get the fuck out the OOC channel.
Same as /advice... how the fuck people think people need to ask for advice in character is beyond me.

Since I moved all the spam to a spam channel, I havent had the urge to tell people to STFU. If I do meet roleplayers then its all in the /say channel and I take it from there. Though I dont think the guy I was speaking to in /say last night was a roleplayer... he was pissed off accusing our group of spawn camping.

Never had to go in a /fellowship outside of guild, so havent really experienced the grouping problems you mention Shuno, but I always saw /lff chapter 11 etc.. so people must use the /lff channel.

Did Weathertop last night.... was excellent.

and dwarves are like scots because thats what Tolkein designed them as all those years ago. Blizzard on the other hand had no excuse for the stereotype.

It's a stereotype everyone uses for dwarves, don't just point at Blizzard because that's what it's 'cool' to do.

The fact that the tourist stereotype has been used before doesn't make it any more relevant to the point I was making, which is that it would be nice if the stereotypes were changed.

jedel, I was talking to someone on laurelin and he said that its really not that bad. He said when your doing quests no one bothers you if you dont feel like being a full time RP. BUt it makes it good fun in inns and stuff when you do want to do a bit of RP
