I'm hearing alot of stuff about this. 94% in PC Gamer, they say it's the best RTS ever.

The demo should be waiting for me when i get home, looking forward to it.

Best RTS ever? Thats a very broad statement... if its better than RTW, itll be 100%.

It does sound very cool. Totally desructable surroundings. the building fall apart based on where explosions take place. The battle field changes and develops as you play, meaning that options open up the further you get into.

The PCG review really made it sound a hell of alot of fun. I'll report back with what i think when i get home, as you know Gil i love RTW too, so i can say how it measures up in comparison.

It's WWII based btw.

I played it last night, and i have to say it's rather cool. Infintry use cover, tanks can roll through walls and building, artillery leaves craters you can actually use for cover.

I played the demo and first mission last night and it was great fun, so freeform and adaptive. The landscape changes so much during a battle, i pretty much leveled the town i was fighting in.

Didn't quite grab me as much as RTW (though that may just be because i find that Era more interesting than WW2, and because RTW is much, much bigger) but this is the best C&C style RTS i've played in a long time.

As much as you'd expect from the people who made Dawn of War.

Big fan of the artillery stuff atm, the explosions are great and its great seeing the effect it has on the landscape.

Impressed with the graphics too, not pinstick things that run around like ants hehe. Although DoW wasnt like that either, they have definately improved the graphics...tho it could be my new card not sure lol

Anyways fun game...seriously considering getting it when its out online battles could be quite insane.

been playing this for a good week or 2, it's fun but it can get boring/repetitive when you've played both sides enough

and like any other rts, usually the first guy to get the most tanks first, wins

Been playing it for nearly a week now, its fucking ace, have to play it on my housemates computer though as it clean refuses to play on mine. Had another computer round on friday night and had them linked up for head to head play v nice indeed (fav bit is ordering in parachute jumps behind enemy lines).

He got it on dodgy DVD from a bloke in the local who gets games a few weeksn before release. Other ones we got recently from him are Lego Star Wars 2 (not played that yet) and Call of Juarez (v nice in places)
