Does anyone have this game and hated it/not playing again for any other reason?

Could I borrow the keycode? I want to check out multiplayer, but did not acquire the game through the conventional method (stlolen ).

Would be most grateful.

Failing this, however, a step-by-step guide as to how to join these bloody cracked servers would also be great - I can't for the life of me figure it out and it's getting on my tits.

Try google for Cod4 cracked servers and with some hassle with random generated CD-keys you might be able to play on those.
Can also work to download hamachi and try find servers through that.

Nope i was if i'm honest put off by 2 and 3 so i didnt splash the cash this time round,getting tempted by it though

Still plagued by bugs that have been there since launch and never fixed, amazingly some of the weapons suffer from typos in the data files causing them to not work as intended, and to top it all off IW just released the 1.6 patch that was supposed to fix a whole bunch of these bugs and it fixes none of them whatsoever.

Hilariously patch 1.6 was delayed months ago due to the new killcams being buggy and when it finally does come out there aren't even any new killcams.
