I wonder if the BBC realise how amazingly pointless this will be unless the current firmware problems limiting streaming video playback to ~71 minutes are fixed?

Although Nintendo themselves are rumoured to be pushing the Wii into full set top box territory, Japan already has a TV guide channel up and running.

Oh, I'm also kinda baffled as to why it's being "added now" when it's basically a flash based video player, you could have accessed it from the Wii for years now.
