Hmm, well i've had the japanese prologue for a while now (it has less stuff than this one tho). I'd have to say that it's only worth getting if you're a really big gran turismo fan, otherwise i'd wait for the actual game

So did anyone, other than me, get this? If so, what do you think?

I've not put as much time into it as I'd of liked, as I picked up my new car this morning and have been playing with that, but I've done most of the C class stuff so far and am enjoying it.

Graphics are stunning...sound track sucks, where's the Ash track? Controls could do with the rumble feature, Sony need to get their finger out and release the DS3 in Europe. Fortunately the force feedback wheel and pedals I got for GT3 on the PS2 still work. There's a decent collection of cars (60+), I started with an Integra Type R and am about to trade up for an NSX.

Gameplay wise, if you've played any of the GT games, it's more of the same. Lacks the modding and tuning elements of the full game which is a shame, although I believe you can unlock a quick tune option later on.

Online is fun, can have up to 16 players, although if you end up at the back of the pack it's more like dodgems than a racing game. There's no way of setting up a race with you friends and no VOIP functionality either which is kind of lame, although it's supposed to be being patched in later. The time trial stuff is quite good, you get to try and set a lap record and then your time goes on to a leaderboard. You can then watch the replays of anyone on the leaderboard and also have them run as a ghost car in your time trial.

20 quid well spent imo.

No matter how much they tart up the graphics it's not gonna change the fact that the gameplay is about as exciting as 2 mph pensioner driving.
