If anyone's looking to put their PS3 to some use, I can highly recommend this. It's like a cross between Tomb Raider and Gears of War. I've been playing it pretty much all day and enjoyed every minute of it.

It tends to be when the game has console autoaim, half the shots in the review video killed people without the crosshair even being on them.

I went back and watched the trailer again, and I'm not seeing it tbh, I'm certainly not seeing it in the game.

The video doesn't do it justice, it really is a stunning looking game. Extremely rich and detailed textures, brilliant lighting and water that looks good enough to drink. I've not played CoD4 though, so I can't compare.

I have R&C too, it's excellent, I'll be going back to it as soon as I complete Drake. There is a demo of Drake on the PSN if you haven't already given it a try. I'd also suggest Warhawk if you don't already have it, if you have a PS3 you really should own that game. It's available for download for 20 quid.

Can't really argue with that, it's a good point, well made...who's up for some Greys of War?

Given the sheer lack of use i've not checked out the PS store in ages so if theres a demo i'll D/L it later on as for warhawk how good is it?

It's a 32 player, online only, third person shooter. There's a variety of different weapons and vehicles which allows different play styles. It's very well balanced with no weapon/vehicle having the upper hand. The graphics and sound are good, and there is no lag. The game's just fun, it's one of those games where you can just pick it up if you have a spare half hour and have a blast in.

It is online only though, there's no single player, offline mode at all. If your connection to the PSN isn't very stable, probably not worth bothering with.

Available for download for 20 quid, or there's a boxed version for around 30-35 quid which comes with a headset. The following code can be used to get a fiver off from GAME:
