I was in a shop (currys if you want to know) yesterday, and there were big signs up saying no more stock of Wii's till after crimbo, so don't even ask etc, but had the PS3 / Xbox360 piled up high...

So after a year, the demand for Wii is far outstripping what Nintendo can bash out.. I am shocked that it's this popular.

i dont mean i dotn want to pay 180 pounds for it because in my opinion its worth less. I mean they sell for 180 but cost nintendo so much less to make, so the hardware you pay for has huge profit margins for nintendo.

I dunno lol, I'm not bashing Nintendo at all, I do like the Wii. I was just commenting on the price it costs to make and the prie they sell for with each console, Im sure I've read somewhere (think it was Edge) that MS are selling the 360s at a lower price than it costs them to make. And that I had read/heard that the Wiis sell for alot mroe than it costs to make. Il ltry and find the facts!

The shortage of Wiis is mainly down to Nintendo's awful stock supply. They're basically renowned for it, especially in Europe. I never have worked out why they hate Europe so much but they definitely do. They're not sold out just because everyone is buying them they're sold out because there's a national shortage due to not enough being sent here. It's not hard to get one in America I believe.
