Unfortunately pretty much all ISPs use BTs infrastructure. Many are using Easynet now though, which is good.

The main thing that pisses me off about BT is their shite customer service. When there's an ADSL fault, they're just too bone idle to diagnose it properly, and always palm it off.

Can't stand them.

I hate their new TV adverts with that lanky dude from My Family. What the fuck are they all about? And the new ad boards they have now with a picture of a phone and "BT Total Broadband". Like we're all supposed to know what it is or just go out and buy it withou question because it's BT. Condescending, pompus twats.

I hate the fact that to get broadband with demon I had to pay £100 to BT to reconnect my phoneline (they're the only people that could do it as it's their lines) then give them £12 a month for a year to keep the phone line active.

£100 flat rate to 'install' a new phone line in a home that already had a BT phoneline and just needed someone at the exchange to click a button and re-enable it. Oh and it took 2 weeks for them to do.
