But they don't make it that way do they.... They convert fossil fuels that release huge amounts of carbon. OK you could rig up a wind turbine and generate electricity to make a little Hydrogen, but compared to using bio fuel this is so inefficient it's not even funny. Industry will always take the cheapest route - for this reason hydrogen will always be a heavy CO2 producer.

Until the French can get that fusion reactor running, hydrogen is not the route to take! That’s at least 20 years away, too late IMHO…
