Ye, I saw the 3yr contract bit, that will be suitable for lots of people as they many when they have something that works dont shop around. It wont be any good for lots of us, but for some it might be very interesting indeed.

It's not just the 3yr contract...it's what you have to pay back if you cancel before the contract is up.

As I said, its for those who get something, are happy with it and dont shop about (those people who are still with British Gas for example). Would be perfect for half the staff in my school, my dad and several others I can think of.

yeah so you pay 20 a month times 36 is 720 for 3 year broadband and PC, broken into montly payments

not too bad for someone who doesnt have the money for a computer, and doesnt have broadband, who has 20 a month to spend

I have a bad feeling about that scheme, and I would never recomend anyone goes near a Lexmark printer, where is costs less to buy a whole new printer than replace all the ink!

Read something the other day about how printer ink is more expensive than human blood and gold.

Wonder when they're gone start trading in it as a commodity on the stock markets.

Lexmark's price strategy has always been far more focused on cheap printers, pricey cartridges for a good while.

They justify it by putting a large amount of technology on the cartridge themselves, so when you buy a new cartridge you're actually replacing the print heads etc.

That being said HP Printers and Canon > All others.

Lexmark did used to have a great habit of hiring especially attractive female sales reps, at least in the area I worked in. I could never quite bring myself to tell them their printers sucked and I wished we didn't stock them.
