need hard drive deals
anyone know of any HD deals? PATA or SATA, dont care.

prefer 300gb +

outpost had the seagate SATA 400gb 16mb cache 7200rpm joint for $99 shipped, missed it this morning

should have ordered 4 instead of 2 of those last batch of drives i got from compusa

all my fucking old drives are dying on me, lucky for me each drive that has failed was actually backed up! but now, i have 0 room for backup

need drives!

best so far i have found for price per gb, .23 USD per GB

as I write this I can hear one of my last older IDE drives squeaking and rattling, looks like I might lose another one soon. 2 died in last 2 weeks already. these drives are about 5 years old.

I'm using a 6 year old 5200 rpm 20gig drive as my main C drive and its still chugging along, Seagate 4tw
