Woah... thats very tempting actually. Only thing i'm concerned about is how the warrancy will work here. Theres always a slight risk when ordering from abroad.

So the performance would be completely identical to a 7950GX2 card?

i doubt the performance is the same....youd have to see if you could find a review comparing them i guess.

I payed £300 for my Radeon X1900XT at the end of march. Soem would say it's useless, no game touches it and you can get a cheaper card with the same performance. Who gives a shit, I want an uber freakin card in this uber freakin PC.

However, if I had waited a few months I could have got one of the dual core GFX cards. But I have gone off nVdia, I've always been an ATi fanboi, even after my 9800XT burned out randomly the day after the guarantee ran out. To me nVidia cards never seem to perform as well as people claim. It's alright a magazine or soemthing saying 'yeah this card pwns this one becuase its got this and that'. But who cares, all I wanna know is, 'can I have any game I own on Full graphics and still people to play without having to go get a fresh cuppa everytime I take a step forward.' If you are in the same boat, go get a 6800 Ultra for like £180 and overclock the tits out of it. If you just wanna say to people 'I have the best component out' then go spend lots of money, but give it 2 months and you'll be out of fashion.

yeh read a review in which they performed the same....tho it appears quad sli isnt exactly working to well atm.

You need a huge screen to get a noticeable difference so you can crank up the res.

Infact on alot of the stuff normal sli and crossfire performed better.

If you have just a single PCIe slot then this is still the best bang for buck possible... Just need that big case with full length slots...

seems the 7900 actually beats the 7950 on some occasions too.

They are so close to identical score on the high end tests that they are basically identical performance, only the price and physical size differentiate them...

Honestly, I don't care if its "outperformed" by 10 fps in the 60 fps range by some card that costs twice as much.

That thing isn't gonna fit into a standard case though. Wouldn't want na swap my case just for one graphics card.
