| Shure in-ears. I have the EC2 version. Take some getting used to the way they fit in your ear and form a seal but the sound quality for the price is amazing. And outside noise is non-existent. You can get them for around £45, cheaper if you can source something on Ebay.

| I hear good things about the Yuin PK range, you'll need an amp to power the PK1's though. PK2/3 is probably your best bet depending on budget, they'll be a PITA to source though most likely. On the plus side though they won't burrow halfway down your ear canal, christ I hate earbuds like that.

| Audio quality of Ear Canal headphones is amazing. Hated the way they felt at first, but quickly got used to them for the sake of the audio quality and the way they cut out external noise almost entirely. Cannot recommend them enough. I used my £40 Shure's way more than my rather more pricey Bose on-ears even when I don't need the discrete in-ear option.

| I just can't cope with them, after about half a minute I have to pull the bastards out.

| aye the sonys i have are ear buds and took getting used to at first....but they are far more comfortable in the long run and love the sound. Currently considering the Shure Se420's tho they are a tad more expensive than the ones you listed wharry ...the ec2 werent on the site when i went there randomly checking hehe. Will do a search for them now. Will have to rule out the yuin as they are not ear-bud types . Seems the Klipsch custom-3 is getting good reviews aswell.Bose tend to be overpriced...and...well made from the cheapest pile of junk possible. We had 2 sets of their headphones and they fell apart....the sound quality was average at best. |

| Got no complaints about my Bose headphones, the Shures are just better and way cheaper. The Shures I wasn't 'sure' about (LOLPUN), so bought the cheapest ones. When I wear these ones to death I'll definitely be getting an upgrade. If you know you're comfortable with the Ear Canal fit then go for the Se420's, heard nothing but good things about them (apart from the price).

| yeh i was put off at first by the price listed at £249 for se420s. But you can get them for £159 now so slightly better. The cabling is also apparently thicker and thus hopefully more durable. Yeh sorry about my little bose rant, just not a fan. We have a 5.1 surround sound system from them which is also distinctly average ....considering it cost like 3 grand. |

| well im now considering the Shure se530....... as its only an extra £40 and they are supposed to be amazing...... The Ultimate ear triplefi 10 (or whatever there called) are supposed to be quite good to....they look a bit bulky tho compared to the shures. |
