Eh looked around a bit and the best package i have seen for PS3 is on Gamestation i guess they dont ship to Eire though.
Next best one was Amazon- 2 games from selection and Burnout Paradise and HDMI cable for €470.

Eh any chance anyone knows any better deals around that ship here? Preferably 3 games and an extra pad like....

Well to be honest the 360 anything on that is on the pc to be fair :P and i dont buy into halo hype.
The wii, while i love mariokart I just couldnt bring myself to spend that money on such low level tech.

So to be fair, with the upcoming ps3 lineup thats what ill be getting, Id buy it solely for LittleBigPlanet and mgs4 and GT5 nevermind the other exclusives. To be honest i think theyre all shit compared to consoles of years gone by, im bored out of my mind and well i have to buy something to keep me amused and PCs i just dont love games enough anymore to go with all that hassle. Guess im getting old.

What marketing? I have been travelling around for the last year and a half elwe. The only marketing i have been exposed to is alcohol related. I havent seen a sony advert on tv in about 3 years never mind lesser forms of it.

Anyway can we leave this shite debate out of the thread, i didnt ask for this its been done to death. It comes down to personal preference at the end of the day. My minds made up. Looking at games available now or in the next year, it would be a wii or PS3. Wii eh just isnt next gen in my eyes and mario and mariokart isnt enough to make up for that, also wary of the controllers. PS3 it is.

I don't like the Wii after playing on one for the first time the other week. I was playing the boxing game on Wii Sports and got beat by a woman, a 13 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. Little did I know you could play that game with your eyes closed as long as you just frantically shake your fists at the screen. And there was me trying to box!
