| NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo oooooooo bad move matey i endured a year with them. as teh whazza said theyre fine until you have a problem then they're a fucking nightmare. horrendouse call centres cutting you off, leaving you on hold, denying resposnsibility, can't speak fucking english! Seriously, deviate from their script even one iota and they aint got a clue. I was speaking to tech support there on one occasion and after going through his script i asked a question that he had no answer for... well, no answer other than 'i am sorry sir, i'm not very technical' :| their fucked up shit was finally made even worse when they started throttling p2p, badly. not just during the day, but at night as well. Tech Supports answer to this? We don't support p2p.

| I was a big supporter of their service. Free local, national and international calls and they were giving me 8mb bband before BT said they would and they were cheaper than BT. We cut our monthly bills from £70ish to £40ish. If they could actually provide decent customer service (and not throttle p2p so badly) I'd still be using them.

They are all the same in this respect, all of them, without exception. Ok till you get a problem, then you are fucked. Even Virgin, who have marketed themselves on customer service since the telewest /ntl merger , have just announced that technical problems for broadband are going to a 25p a minute help number. That annoyed me. I have to pay to tell them the service isnt working. Its fucked up. Unfortunately, unlike most other countries, in the UK, customer care is not important, and we accept it. Companies in the US would go bust in a week for doing something ike that. |

| I was trying to activate a credit card yesterday and some Welsh guy, very nice as he was, started going on and on aout football and how he went out in Liverpool last week..etc. He was very nice though, sometimes you do get good service, though it's not common. Ladbrokes customer servces are the worst. I'm glad I've never had to phone them as a customer and only as staff lol

Having experienced both i can happily say that I left TT with a massive sigh of relief over the fact that I no longer felt the compulsion to physically harm TT staff :| You're abolutely right about cus.svc. in this country though, we don't tend to give a shit. I spent my early teenage years in the USA; now there's a country that knows cus.svc. Maybe it's to do with employess there not having the job security/safety that we do here so they try a lot harder?? If you know your job is under threat, it makes it a lot easier to grin and bear awkward customers rather than 'fuck them off' uk stylee.
