Apparently its for new customers, but if you ring them they either give you an installation date, or they refuse and say you're already an exsisting customer, then you just say you were thinking of going to Virgin anyway and they give you it.

Nope apparently not, the Sky+ sub is ending in July anyway and there'll just be Sky+ or SkyHD available to new customers.

I'll report back tomorrow, I'm gonna try a cheeky multiroom maneuver if all goes well.

Oh, interesting.

I have Sky+ downstairs and a regular multiroom box upstairs. I want the one upstairs upgraded to either plus or HD. Find out if that's possible for me!

Wharry, most sky+/HD installs include a quad lnb on the dish, this enables you to have 2 sky+ boxes or 1 sky+ and 2 normal boxes, although recently they have been installing oct LNBs with 8 connectors on which would be up to 4 sky+/HD boxes.

If you have a quad the upgrade is easy and the oct LNBs are available on ebay for about a tenner, hope that helps
