lol I do that on the unprotected wireless routers round our way. Connect to them and download several torrents, at the same time. I love eejits tbh, saves on usage caps for meh.

Theres various sniffers out there that do it. They just analyse traffic for long enough to crack the encryption. Its possible with absolutely any encryption method, but it may take a super computer several months/years to crack the strongest encryption.

Its not something i've actually done before so don't know the program names, I just know its possible and only takes about 10 mins on a mac to crack WEP.

So much for things being secure.

Yeah, I can't remember the guy's name, but some dude invented 512 bit (I think, may have been 256) encryption before the US DoD did, they arrested and charged him for some computer crime.
