| yeh they told me that about my asus. Asus then told me it was overclockers who had to sought it out and send it abck to them and replace mine. I knew overclockers wouldnt so decided to use the distance seller regulations which they have to adhear to by law. Its simple i goto court win and they pay for my legal costs and refund all my money. But i bet i get a response saying theyve changed their mind or were mistaken and agree to refund it before that happens. |

| Should use dabs.... I have convinced my work to use dabs for ordering IT stuf, so now I have a business account available, direct line to a dedicated account manager, a nice extra discount (usable on home purchases also)... And if they ever muck me about I can threaten to withdraw £40k ish business a year, they listen to me now mwahahah! |

| Overclockers have always had terrible customer support. I only ever order small stuff from them that I'm not worried about RMA for.

| Well will be phoning them 2mro anyway and give them an earful. its just pure lazyness in the first place to make no attempt to help me with the product and shifting me noto asus when asus have stated it has togo through the retailer. Then pulling this stunt, they probably do this and think people wont take any action so they can get away with it. |

| i always buy from shops that i visit. maybe not the cheapest. but at leasy i know i can talk to people directly. Novatech for me as i can get there on the bus in 30mins.

| ebuyer are pretty good. They used to have terrible customer service, but seem to have sorted it out now and you actually get to speak to someone! They're on a par with Dabs on prices too. Another one that aint bad on prices is www.advancetec.co.uk. Only ordered once and they screwed up the order though. They sorted it pretty quick though. |

| i use telekom.de, amazon.de, dell or alternate.de for stuff which is worth something. only ever had one problem with a graphic card.. i ordered a geforce6800 AGP but when i tried to put it in i found out i have pci-e. a friend who helped me build it in laughed at me i sent it back and got reimbused + got similar graphic card just for pci-e. that was at alternate.de

I originally wanted them to replace it but they kept telling me togo to asus. Asus however said that it was the retailer who had to replace it and send the faulty one back to them. At this point i wasnt convinced overclockers were gonna be anywheer enar helpfull enough todo this. So i sent it back under the distances seller regulation act. In short you have 7 days after recieving the goods to inform the company you bought it from that you are returning the product for a refund. I informed them and they sent me an e-mail with an rma number and desired action was refund. Today they claimed whilst talking on the phone to my father (as i cant make personal calls whilst at work) that it was returned as fualty and they were sending it back because it wasnt....lol (youll see why its funny in a sec) yesterday tho they claimed they were sending it back because it wasnt fit for resale (which is bullshit, apart from a couple of bags for cables and documents being opened its in the exact same condition it arrived in). so contacted trading standards now and theyve said to send them a written letter outlying the distance seller regulation act and explain to them that they have to abide by this as it is the law. if they then fail to refund the money trading standards will take legal action from there against the company. Ontop of that they accessed my bank account illegally to get money for a delivery i never asked for or agreed to. total bunch of tossers. |

Then they dont want to know and pull all kinds of shit stunts. There changing their story every 5 seconds as to why they wont refund me. Just following trading standards advice now, sending a letter at weekend outlining the distance seller regulations and including a printed copy of the e-mail i sent them informing them i was sending it back under the distance seller regulations. Aswell as including the dates i recieved goods and the date i informed them i was returning it (which is on the e-mail), to proove the fact they were informed within 7 days of me recieiving the goods. |
