Right. So, last night... out of shagging no where, I start getting this minor problem. I run the game, everything starts up fine, log in my account, choose a server, join the game. Now when it comes to selecting my class I cant move my mouse, my keyboard is frozen, the whole nine yards.

So, I restarted... hoped it would fix my problem. Did it? Nope... I tried reinstalling, now whenever it gets to objects.zip it brings up the error "Battlefield 2 failed to install, please try again from the beginning."

Eh find a torrent for bf2. Grab Bit Lord or Bit Comet whichever one allows you to download specific files from the torrent. Download just Object.zip and your off.

Go look for guides on the net you will get it eventually. Try Portforward.com or something as well it will tell you how to open your ports thats what your issue was last time i think.

Go into your control options in game and reset to default.

Fixed the original problem for me.
