I think the reason most people are amused by the announcement is the fact that the game has been delayed more times than the second coming of christ and it's still getting hacked to pieces in order to release.
It's also funny you should mention instances when I'm sure one of the early beta complaints about WHO was the fact that it was instanced to hell and back. |
i think you are mixing that up with AOC. Im in the WHO beta for nearly a year now and the only thing instanced is the battlegrounds. Everything else is open. And im glad they are doing these delays. They listen to the testers alot and even did some big changes in favor towards the players opinion which take time to do and hence the delaying.
It isnt a bad thing imo. I rather play a fun and stable game than some half finished crap which is patched every 10mins and still doesnt work for months. But maybe thats just me.
