For the fridges, LG are good, but Samsung are better... at least according to the missus! Both companies are Korean, so she knows best. We are getting one of these bad boys in the next few weeks.

As for the Pioneer reccomendation made by Higgins, it is more a nod of agreement - Sharp screens are made by Pioneer :P

Pioneer, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, NEC and Hitachi/Fujitsu make their own screens - anybody else just repacks them. I am going for a nice 42" Samsung repck that I can buy in Korea for under 400 quid
