I think the salient point here is that in MMO history , I can only think of one game that suspended beta for this length of time.

That was Dark and Light.

The omens are bad.


But as I said, whatever the reason, it is obvious it has to be a major rewrite to take as long as it is.

As said, I suspect its to make PvP an optional part of the game , EA influence no doubt.
